Hotel Splendid

“We stayed here for our most recent ski trip to Sauze, and we honestly had the most wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt warm, welcoming, and incredibly comfortable. After a day of skiing, we loved relaxing near the bar—playing board games, chatting with other guests, and soaking up the genuinely friendly atmosphere. The staff truly made this place special. From the waiters to the bar staff and the owners, everyone was so positive, chatty, and kind. After long, tiring days on the slopes, being welcomed back with smiles and good vibes really lifted our spirits and made such a difference. The food was another highlight. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of options, and every dinner was cooked beautifully. It had a real Italian home-cooked feel!! We’ve stayed in many hotels on ski trips, but when we return to Sauze, we would 100% stay here again. A huge thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our ski trip so memorable and special!”

“Lovely family run hotel, a warm welcome on arrival, friendly helpful staff and delicious food. The pool and sauna are a real treat after a day skiing. Comfy chairs in the bar to relax in the evening. The hotel is up a steep hill but it is only a 10 minute walk. There's a bus you can get to and from the bottom of the Sportinia lift which is great. One of the best hotels we've stayed in for skiing.”

“A lovely hotel, great staff, plenty of food, and good beer. It's at the top of a hill, but then that's ok. Nice clean rooms, if a little dated, warm and cozy. I'd definitely come here again”

“First of all the staff are amazing, so friendly and welcoming always happy to help. The hotel itself is in need of modernization it's stack in the late 80's . The only downside is the food, I expect better quality from Italian chefs, I would advise the owner to stick to Italian cuisine and don't try to make it English. (Come on pasta Carbonara with cream) You based in Italy for God sake. Over all we had a great time and one more thing important to add use the local bus, it's outside the hotel and it's £10 for the week.”
